FAQ's



You can enrol for TRN101 on the Fifth House Training website. Complete the online enrolment form. Once all the admission requirements are met, and course fees have been paid, you will receive all the information you require to get started, via email.

  • Grade 12 (Matric Certificate).
  • No Tertiary qualification required.
  • English language proficiency.
  • Language proficiency in one other language.

Should your Grade 12 certificate not have sufficient information to assess your English and second language proficiency, you will be required to complete a short language test. To ensure that you complete the course successfully, you will require a level of proficiency in English and at least one other language.

Yes. The prescribed textbook must be purchased independently.

Each of the assignments will be sent to you via e-mail. Once completed, you will e-mail the assignment back to your course representative for assessment.

You will require access to a computer, word processor software (e.g Microsoft Word), e-mail and connection to the internet. There are 24 Exercises to complete over the course period. Once completed and assessed, you need to obtain a minimum average of 55% to pass the course.

Due to the nature of the course, continuous assessment takes place through the practical exercises. If a minimum average of 55% is not achieved by the end of the course, you will not be eligible for your certificate. Should you wish to retry, you may take the course again but take note that a fresh set of exercises will then be supplied.

Yes. Once all your practical assignments have been completed and assessed, and you obtained a minimum average of 55%, you will receive a Fifth House Training Institute certificate that is endorsed by DMME Translation Services.
